Elaine C. “Dottie” Stickles, 66 of Lake in the Hills, formerly of Streamwood died peacefully, July 3, 2012 at Sherman Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.? A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road-Huntley.? In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Elaine C. Stickles memorials fund.
Elaine was born August 15, 1945 the daughter of? Harry J. and Alice (McLean) Kohl.? She worked as a realtor for forty years first at Home to Home Inc. and later for the last twenty years at Re/MAX Central. Family was her greatest joy, she especially enjoyed family vacations and traveling to see her family.? Dottie was devoted to her Church and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Ryefield, Tracy Ryefield, Bobbie (Mark) Mitchell, Nikki (Mike) Worm, and Suzi (Mike) Lyp.? She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda, Katrina, Autumn, Ryan, Jordyn, Sabrina, Corey, Kyle, Mikie, Danielle, Kenna and Shelly.? Her great grandchildren, Grayson , and Samya, Baby Dixion.? She is also survived by her Aunt Lois and by her nieces, Dana and Tina and by many cousins. Elaine was also survived by her ?granddog Dixie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sharon, by her first husband, Max and her husband Wayne.

Mrs. Sticklers was an amazing mother, friend, grandmother, and friend..She was the best to all she came into contact with, and had an amazing heart. I was blessed to have known her, and I will miss her very much..To my 2nd MOM, I will miss you, I Love you, and you are an inspiration for me!! GOD BLESS!!!

Hal and I were both sad to hear of your mothers passing. She was mother and grandmother extrodinaire! She will be missed by all. We are out of town and wished we could be with you to celebrate her life!
