We started out as friends and ended up like family. We will always have those wonderful memories of the four of us going out and then staying in and playing card games. No matter what, Marilyn never complained, she just took it all in stride. She was very fortunate to have such a caring and loving husband who took such great care of her when she was at home in the hospital or in rehab and she received the same loving care from her children. We will miss Marilyn very very much. She was the sweetest and kindest person we have ever known. Go with God Mar!

My Mom Alveyn Roberts passed recently and was reflecting on the good friendship she had with Helen & Art. I had known Marilyn since we were infants, growing up with family BBQs, lake outings and hanging out at the Johnson bungalow in Chicago. Such good times we had. Marilyn was the sweetest. She never complained, and had a honest heart and was a good listener and wise beyond her years as a young girl. She adored her family, husband Steve children Kelly, Chris and Corrine. I hope you feel her spirit with you daily. Jan Robert's Bill & Al's daughter
